Project Brief
To create an inviting and usable kitchen/dining space with a structure that gives the client a usable space through all seasons. Using elements from the kitchen design, we designed a bespoke pergola frame which angled into the corner of the clients garden. Creating the bespoke shape meant we maximised the usable. Over the kitchen, we designed in a full flat roof with integrated LED lighting to give the cooking area full weather protection. To soften the design and to marry the pergola design in with the kitchen, we introduced iroko battens within the soffit.
To ensure the living/dining space below the pergola still benefits from sun light, we included a motorised louvre roof. This gave the client control of how much sun light they wanted within the space, also allowing it be fully closed during sudden down pours. Along the front of the patio, we design and fabricated bespoke rolled planters to marry into the design and frame the area.

- Warm White LED strip Lights – operated on remote and dimmable
