Project Dukes Close Chiswick, London. The design Project Dukes Close Chiswick, London. The design brief asked for a thoughtful outside dining and entertainment space that would be an extension of our clients’ existing garden room & bar situated within a beautifully kept garden. This resulted in a self-supporting, watertight roof structure which incorporates a large skylight, lights, recessed ceiling heaters and hidden water drainage whilst aesthetically tying into the existing building’s features and finishes. The main focus piece is the beautiful Western Red Cedar timber soffit that’s been carefully machined and aligned to match the existing building’s cladding. It was an absolute pleasure working with Rachael Harvey from Harvey Design who acted as Project Manager and ensured a smooth process from design through installation and finally completion! www.urban-skies.com www.harvey-design.com
