At this private home in Ringwood, we designed, manufactured and installed a continuous run of bespoke brise soleil along the first-floor windows. The unbroken line of blades gives the upper floor privacy from the outside while controlling the sun in the warmer months, cutting glare and heat gain without darkening the rooms. Running the brise soleil across the whole façade rather than window by window gives it a clean, cohesive look, and it was made to measure and fitted precisely to suit the architecture of the house.
