Project Brief:
The brief for this retro fit solar shading system was to reduce the heat gain and glare to the 2no stair cores, whilst changing the design aesthetic to the building. We designed, manufactured and installed these large, vertical cubic louvres that are supported on curved support rails and bracketry through the existing glass brick façade.
Materials used:
- 300x50mm aluminium louvres
- 100x50mm curved aluminium supporting RHS.
- Mild steel supporting brackets
- Colour: RAL 7012
