Project Brief
At this private home in Bushey, we designed, manufactured and installed a highly bespoke pergola on the second-floor balcony, turning it into a comfortable, usable outdoor space. The pergola roof is broken into three separate floating roofs, suspended under a steel support frame. The pergola provides shelter and a defined sense of enclosure, while the privacy screens along the sides shield the balcony from neighbouring properties and add shade and protection from the wind. Because it sits at height, the structure was designed to be strong and secure while staying light and elegant in appearance, so it suits the style of the house.
